The easiest way to connect your hitch light to your 2015 Ford F-150 without it deactivating the Blind Spot Detector would be to install an aftermarket 4-Pole Connector.
All you need to do is use the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Connector, part # C58044, and splice into your F-150's lights directly behind the tail light housing. The wire configuration will be:
Yellow - Left turn/brake
Green - Right turn/brake
Brown - Tail lights
White - Ground

The Cub Blind Spot Monitoring System for RVs and Motorhomes Up to 55' Long # CU52XR only activates while the RV is moving at a speed greater than 15mph which you typically wouldn't be if you were backing into a spot or just worrying about maneuvering around poles and fire hydrants.

I will say that this is the first time I've ever seen anything regarding the blind spot detection system being rendered inoperable on the Audi Q5 when you install a trailer hitch. Generally blind spot mirrors should be placed in the upper or lower outside corners of the main mirror surfaces. I looked at the instructions for each of the trailer hitches that fit a 2018 VW Golf SportWagen and there is no mention of blind spot sensors in the instructions for the EcoHitch # 306-X7315, Draw-Tite # 24949, or Curt # C11422, nor is there any mention of blind spot sensors in the linked installation video of the Draw-Tite hitch being installed on a '15 VW SportWagen.

You could use the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation System # FCE48TASL-05 on a motorhome and it would give side views to help with blind spots. You'd just have to run power to the sides of the motorhome for the side cameras. Typically, it's the running light circuit used for this. With this setup though you can run the monitor in a grid mode to allow you to see all views at any time too which would be great for blind spots.

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 is compatible with a 2019 Ford Ranger's BLIS (blind spot information system). However, it is NOT compatible with a 2019 Ranger that has the Smart Trailer Tow option. The Smart Trailer is mostly an alert about connection via the 7-way on your Ranger and is not connected with the BLIS.

It is possible to move your blind spot mirror like the CIPA Wedge-Shaped, Stick-On HotSpot Mirror - 1-1/2" x 2" - Convex part # CM49002. It will however be hard to remove it with out damaging the adhesive on the back side of it. Your idea of using the hairdryer is the best way to soften the adhesive you'll then pull out on it gently and allow the adhesive to separate from the mirror face. I give it a 50/50 chance of working. No, the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 306-X7338 doesn't create a blind spot. That RF sensor that sits behind the bumper trim and bumper bar gets moved at the 8 min mark in the installation video I have attached. The proximity and back up sensors are inside the bumper trim. I've attached photos of an older Draw-tite hitch where it shows photos of where the blindspot monitors are removed during the installation of this hitch. When we haven't physically installed this here in our shop, I do usually tend to trust the manufacturer instructions, but it's always possible that the instructions may be different on this year and model.

The best way to decide where to install a blind spot mirror like the part # KSCW1009 on a mirror is to basically use trial and error. For the best viewing angle you will want them mounted on the outside edge of the mirror. But in terms of high or low, you would just want to go with what you prefer.

I spoke with my contact at EcoHitch who said that installing the Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7601 on your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon will not cause you to lose any of the functions that you mentioned, nor will removing the foam cause your bumper to warp.
